I started off in the brewing industry in 1999 by working on the bottling line at a local brewery in Peterborough called KLB. There I quickly became their 1st ever sales rep and called upon the small territory of Ontario.
My next venture was to represent Unibroue from Chambly, Quebec where I focused on pairing beers with food and co-hosting a number of beer dinners throughout Ontario and selling to the LCBO.
In 2004 I made the move to Sleeman Breweries and this is where I took great pride in growing the On Premise channel. This was a role that was used to enhance owner / operator margins in this area. After Sleeman was acquired by Sapporo it was time to move on yet again.
Mill Street Brewery is where I used my skills to develop a number of roles during my time with this amazing organization! I was working as a Regional Sales Manager and the last two years saw me transition into a Business Development role where I worked on some of the largest chain and key accounts in Ontario.
It is safe to say that after 12 years of being in the industry it was time to make the leap and start up my own company.
“I have decided to take the initiative of supporting the smallest craft breweries from Ontario, support out-of-province small breweries and eventually American craft brands. My goal is to give the best representation to these great brands as my heart has always been invested to the smaller company.
Here’s to fostering a thirst for independence”
